Billingsgate Seafood School is a non-for-profit organization located near Billingsgate market in London. The main objectives of this organization are:
- Promote fish and seafood consumption between general public, as part of an equilibrated diet.
- Enhance and promote training and education related with fisherman tasks.
- Provide training courses related with management and cooked of fish.
Since 2000, this school has provided training courses to potential fishermen, including product preparation, fish and seafood security management, as well as proper storage. Besides, Billingsgate Seafood School offers training courses related with sustainability of different species and nutritional advices.
